Keen continues to set an industry standard with eco-conscious manufacturing, from using PFC-free water repellency to reducing waste across production lines. These shoes don’t just tread lightly on the trail—they tread lightly on the planet.
When I photograph products like this, I aim to place them where they belong. There’s something honest about capturing a piece of gear in the kind of environment it was built for—soft moss, stone, pine. Natural textures help contextualize the design, and I always strive for true-to-life color and form so the product feels as real in the photo as it does in hand.
